About Fort Myers, FL

Famous for its coastal charm and fishing opportunities, Fort Myers, Florida, is one-of-a-kind. Established in the 1800s as a fishing village, the city has come into its own with some of the most elite communities in the state, gourmet restaurants, and high-end shopping.

Known as The City of Palms, Fort Myers is beloved for its old-world charm and diverse cultural atmosphere. Brick-paved streets, eclectic locals, and hip art galleries are everywhere here, along with a quaint waterfront for evening soirees.

Downtown

Downtown Fort Myers has something for everyone. Whether you want an all-out shopping spree or a relaxing brunch al fresco, this charming riverfront village has you covered.

History is a big deal in this community, and it shows. There are four historic neighborhoods downtown, each with its own story and attractions:

  • Edison Park

  • Dean Park

  • Downtown

  • Seminole Park

The River District is the most popular area downtown. Thomas Edison lived and had a garden there back in the day, and you can still visit it!

Beach

Fort Myers is an incredible city itself, but what lures people in is its proximity to a wide range of beaches. The nearby beaches boast stunning sunsets, dolphin sightings, and friendly locals.

The closest beach is the Lighthouse Beach Park, a family and pet-friendly beach known for its historic lighthouse. Visitors enjoy fly fishing, tackle fishing, skimboarding, and relaxing in the sun.

Another option is Fort Myers Beach, a seven-mile stretch of white sand, old Floridian-style homes, fresh seafood, and prime biking trails mean paradise is at your fingertips.

Fitness & Events

Also of note are the golf course, tennis courts, fitness facility, and swimming pool only a step away from your front door.

There is no shortage of events in Grand Palms, either. Weekly happenings like Bridge, Canasta, art classes, theater trips, karaoke, Pickleball, and Birding Tours are favorites.

Floor Plans

Grand Palm has two and three-bedroom floorplans available. Each plan has an inviting dining room, den area, and laundry room. Although the condominiums are two floors, there are options to increase unit accessibility.

First-floor units have nine-foot ceilings, while second-floor condos have cathedral-style ceilings. Grand Palm units are on the smaller side of the neighborhood, as some of the larger homes reach up to 10,000 sqft. The houses on Grand Palm Dr. are stucco with tile roofs and in the townhouse style.

All units have a wrap-around lanai and two-car garages. Grand Palm has a private pool that is easily accessible from all buildings.
